Hello! We are CUBO'S HOLIDAY HOMES, specialised in holiday accommodations since 2005.
Located in the municipality of Ardales, this accommodation offers the perfect combination of tranquillity and nature, ideal for families and groups of up to 4 people. Its private plot features a small dam with a waterfall and is surrounded by a well-maintained garden with grass and a variety of plants 🌸. The house is filled with natural light throughout the day thanks to its strategic location. Enjoy unforgettable moments in the large private pool with an unheated jacuzzi and a barbecue area perfect for preparing outdoor meals 🍖. Access is simple, although it includes a one-kilometre stretch of unpaved, compact earth road, suitable for any vehicle 🚗.
At the entrance, you will be greeted by a porch with benches and a jasmine corridor that fills the environment with a relaxing aroma as evening falls 🌼. Inside, the 80 m² dwelling is divided into two floors: the upper floor houses the main bedroom with a double bed and sofa bed, as well as a desk ideal for working with a laptop 💻. On the ground floor, you will find a comfortable living-dining room with a wood-burning fireplace for cool nights and an open-plan kitchen equipped with all the necessary appliances (fridge, microwave, oven, washing machine, coffee maker and more) to make your stay comfortable and practical 🍳.
The second bedroom, with views of the outdoor terrace and the natural landscape, offers a cosy space to rest and store your luggage. The main bathroom has a shower tray and is spacious, and for greater comfort, near the pool there is an independent toilet, thus avoiding entering the house wet 🚿.
This accommodation is located just minutes from key points such as the Coviran supermarket and the center of Ardales (3 km), the Conde de Guadalhorce Reservoir (9 km) and the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Natural Site (18 km), where El Caminito del Rey is located, a very popular destination for nature and hiking lovers 🏞️. The way to the house is adventurous but no problem. The host Antonio makes it really a nice place to stay. Always busy with his garden and his animals and you can really ask him anything.
Ardales is a nice little Village and many things to do in the surroundings.
The house is very complete, nice beds, multiple tv's, good kitchen and various places to sit and relax in- and outside.

We overcame the language barrier by using a translation app.To further enhance the experience, providing complimentary hand soap and shampoo for all guests would be a great addition.

We had a great week with 2 boys aged 6 and 9. Collecting eggs and oranges in the morning for breakfast, spending the days by the pool and relaxing. There is also plenty do do within an hours drive maximum. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to detach from the manic-ness of life. Antonio was a real help and communication with him was excellent.

What a stunning place! We had a fabulous holiday. The highlight was the large pool, we also loved having a fridge freezer next to the pool (perfect for a cool drink after a swim). The house is comfortable and has everything you need. Antonio was a great host, very responsive and despite the language barrier we managed to communicate ok using online translate. The track leading to the house is a bit hair raising in places, but there's very little traffic on it. We would thoroughly recommend.

They had really thought of everything you could possibly need and there were extras too that we didn't expect...our children loved the dogs and hens for instance and the facilities outside in the barbecue/pool area were amazing. The drive to the house from Ardales made it really exciting and we loved it was so secluded.

Antonio and his wife were fantastic hosts. We were more than thrilled with the location and warm welcome! Our 1,5 year old son had the time of his life picking fresh eggs in the morning and oranges and lemons for juice. Also the singing with the birds and petting the dogs was part of our daily program. The location is, to us, perfect! Malaga and beaches within 45 mins drive. Hidden in a beautiful and calm valley 3km from Ardales. Facilities are more than described. Great BBQ place with fully equipped kitchen (yes, with fridge convenient located next to the pool). Also baby cot and high chair are available and toys / outside playhouse for the kids. Thank you for having us!

Wow what a great property and what wonderful people! It’s a little slice of Andalucia heaven at an affordable price. The kids (and us too!) loved collecting fresh eggs and oranges for breakfast everyday. There is so much beautiful and usable outdoor space. The house itself was clean and cozy and the town of Ardales is cute and close by for easy access to groceries and anything else you need. The hosts (we spent a little time with Carmen and Antonia when they came to feed the animals) were warm and friendly and made us feel right at home. One tip- the tap water isn’t potable so bring extra bottled if you need it. They do provide one big bottle on arrival. This was one of our all time favorite airbnbs. We are already planning to come back for a longer visit!

There is a long dirt road that takes you from the town to the property but it wasn’t bad. It is a perfect place to relax go on walks and enjoy nature.

This is one of the most beautiful plots we have ever stayed at! The perfect stay for a family needing quality time together. Peaceful and picturesque. Huge plot that also has fruit, veg and chickens that you can help yourself to. Stunning flowers and smells day and night, and the stars were so bright and clear. Beautiful lakes 15 min away, all beaches and tourist spots easily accessible 50 mins away. You definitely need a car and must be confident and comfortable driving on country dirt tracks. Antonio and his wife were so welcoming and helpful and visited the plot daily to look after the crop and chickens and dogs that stay on the outskirts, this did not disturb our stay at all. I would highly recommend and would love to return.

De grote tuin is een juweeltje. Een prachtig groot zwembad met jacuzzi. Verschillende chill hoekjes. De planten, de bloemen allemaal prachtig. In de grote tuin staan veel fruitbomen, waar we van konden plukken. Vijgen-citroen-sinaasappel-amandel bomen. De sinaasappels waren helaas nog niet rijp. Ook tomaten-aubergine-groene peperplanten. We konden iedere ochtend verse eieren rapen bij de kippen. Vanuit de tuin kan je een superleuk pad bewandelen, dat loopt naar een kleine waterval. Het beekje stroomt onder langs het huis. Je zit helemaal vrij in de grote tuin. Alles was in 1 woord prachtig!De eigenaar Antonio doet heel erg zijn best en gaf ons de eerste dag allerlei groenten uit de tuin. Hij reageert snel en is superaardig. De douche is heerlijk warm en de bedden lagen top!

Een klein paradijsje! Ontzettend mooie buitenruimte/tuin/landschap. Zoveel plekjes om te zitten/eten buiten ... . Antonio (host) was ook bijzonder vriendelijk, bereikbaar, behulpzaam. De binnenruimte is basic maar alles is aanwezig en proper. Enige puntje om eventueel over na te denken is de badkamer en dan vooral de douche (eerder klein en niet praktisch met gordijn). Qua verwarming is dat in Spanje niet te vergelijken als bij ons en minder praktisch. Je kan enkel verwarmen met een open haard en dus moeilijk te regelen.Antonio komt je halen bij aankomst in het dorp, hij rijdt dan voor en is nodig want het huisje is afgelegen maar te bereiken zonder problemen. Wij hadden een topweek met uitjes naar Malaga (fietstocht) - Ronda - de Caminito del Rey (met gids) en 2 rustdagen aan het huisje. In Ardales kan je uiteten en is er ook mogelijkheid om boodschappen te doen. Met de batterijen opgeladen teruggekeerd huiswaarts.

Een geweldige vakantie gehad. Het huisje en tuin/zwembad zijn precies als afgebeeld. zeer aardige host, Antonio. Wel handig als je zelf wat Spaans spreekt. of anders kom je er ook met het vertalen van een tekstbericht:-).Sinaasappels, eieren, of groenten uit de tuin worden door Antonio gegeven. Heerlijk vers! De buren hebben een soort hondenkennel, weinig last van, maar soms midden op de dag/nacht beginnen ze te blaffen en te janken. Houdt na paar minuten weer op. Je bentdan wel wakker. Ardales is een leuk dorp, met supermarktje en zeer centraal gelegen om Malaga, Marbella/Puerto Banis, Ronda enz te bezoeken. Zeker een mooie plek om nog eens naar terug te gaan!

La rencontre avec Antonio et sa famille fut très apprécié, ils sont adorables.Emplacement à la campagne aux milieux des oliviers.La maison, la piscine et le patio sont très bien aménagés, c’est impressionnant.Antonio nous a donné des oranges provenant de son vergers ainsi que des œufs frais provenant du poulailler tout près de la maison.Près du Caminito Del Ray et de Setenil, à voir absolument.Il faut noter qu’à la campagne, les résidants possèdent tous des chiens et parfois la nuit, ils peuvent aboyer.Nous avons apprécié notre séjour.En passant, la petite ville d’Ardales est très sympathique.

Perfekte Location für Naturliebhaber in mitten von Oliven-, Mandeln- und Orangenbäumen. Mit eigenem Pool und extra Outdoor Küche (für Sommertage). Guter Ausgangslage für den Caminito del Rey, den einzigartigen Höhlen von Ardales sowie Ronda, Antequera und Málaga. Marie-Carmen und Antonio waren herzliche Gastgeber. Zum Frühstück durften wir uns mit frischen Orangen, Avocados (war gerade nicht die Saison dafür) und frischen Eiern direkt aus dem Hühnerstall bedienen. Die Ausstattung ist bestens. In kalter Jahreszeit (hatten wir) gab‘s für 20€ einen Schubkarren Holz für den Kaminofen.(reichte für 5 Tage). Wir waren zu viert und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein Schmankerl ist der Buckingham Palace. Findet selbst raus was das ist.

Con lugares y gentes asi da gusto viajar.

Een prachtig huisje op het Spaanse platteland waar je sinaasappelen, citroenen en aardbeien mag plukken uit eigen tuin. Elke ochtend verse eitjes van de kippen.Alle foto’s komen overeen met de werkelijkheid. Het weggetje naar het huisje toe is smal, dat moet je niet vervelend vinden om te rijden.Maar het uitzicht en de rust maakt veel goed.Antonio en Carmen zijn ontzettend gastvrij en heel welwillend om te helpen waar nodig. Mensen met een gouden randje!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Haus und der tolle Garten sind genau wie auf den Fotos. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Die Lage ist großartig, mitten in der Ruhe der Berge. Tolle Möglichkeiten zu wandern!10 min mit dem Auto nach Ardales, oder 30 min zu Fuß, wo man alles einkaufen kann. Es sind sehr nette Gastgeber, die sich um alles kümmern. Antonio kommt einmal am Tag um nach dem Garten zu sehen und die Tiere zu füttern. Es gibt Hühner und drei Hunde. Wir konnten Orangen und Zitronen ernten und hatten immer frische Eier.Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nous avons découvert une région magnifique et avons logé dans une maison absolument incroyable ! Dans son écrin de verdure et fleuri, la maison Est confortable, pratique puisqu'il y a tout le nécessaire au niveau du jardin et de la piscine (réfrigérateur, vaisselle, eau, BBQ et plancha, et les commodités 😉)L'accueil et la bienveillance du propriétaire et de sa maman ont fait la différence, on se sent chez nous. Nous avons complètement déconnecté. Un grand merci à eux, leur gentillesse nous est allé droit au cœur.
